Act as a bridge, bringing the voice of the customer from the commercial team into actionable product enhancements and aligning all stakeholders with the product vision.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, research, and the commercial team to ensure effective product messaging, sales enablement, and seamless product delivery. Support commercial campaigns through targeted content, positioning, and communication strategies that highlight the product’s value proposition.
- Market and User Research: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user testing to understand the needs of secondary care providers and patients. Partner with the commercial team to identify gaps and growth opportunities, ensuring the product remains aligned with industry trends and customer expectations.
- Sales Enablement and Training: Provide the commercial team with training on product updates and features, enabling effective client support and communication. Collaborate with the team to create impactful sales collateral, including product demos, case studies, and positioning materials that address customer pain points and enhance the customer journey.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, monitor product performance, and use customer feedback, usage data, churn rates, and sales metrics to prioritise product features and enhance customer satisfaction. Regularly track sales metrics and KPIs with the commercial team to understand the impact of product changes on sales effectiveness.
- Release Planning and Go-To-Market Strategy: Work closely with the commercial team to develop a go-to-market strategy for new features or product launches, ensuring launch timelines align with sales cycles and customer demand. Provide clear product messaging and technical information for effective communication of product value.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure secondary care products adhere to healthcare industry regulations and standards, such as clinical governance, data security (e.g., GDPR), and interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR).
