As Director of National Solutions you will spearhead Evergreen Life’s commercial efforts by developing relationships with key NHS stakeholders and driving the adoption of our software solutions. Your role will combine strategic engagement, solution selling, and insightful feedback to ensure we meet the needs of our customers and maintain alignment with the NHS’s evolving priorities.
This is a national role that will require regular travel across the UK to meet with NHS stakeholders, attend industry events, and build relationships on the ground. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential, as you will play a critical role in representing Evergreen Life to a diverse range of clients and decision-makers.
The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in health tech sales, an excellent understanding of the NHS Long Term Plan, and a strong network of relationships within the NHS. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, securing contracts, and negotiating terms, as well as acting as a company ambassador at key events.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development
- Proactively identify, target, and secure contracts with NHS organisations, including Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Primary Care Networks (PCNs), Trusts, and other healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement tailored engagement strategies to establish Evergreen Life as a trusted partner for NHS stakeholders.
- Cross-sell Omnes Healthcare services and other Evergreen Life offerings to optimise revenue opportunities.
- Build compelling business cases to present Evergreen Life’s value proposition, demonstrating ROI and alignment with NHS priorities.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
- Build, nurture, and maintain trusted relationships with senior NHS stakeholders, including decision-makers in ICSs, commissioners, and clinicians.
- Translate NHS strategic goals and operational requirements into Evergreen Life solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients, presenting analytics, success metrics, and future opportunities.
- Deliver engaging presentations and lead negotiations to finalise contracts with favourable terms.
- Ability to act as a company ambassador, attending industry conferences and events to represent Evergreen Life and strengthen brand visibility.
Market Intelligence and Feedback
- Monitor and analyse NHS policies, market developments, and competitor activity to inform Evergreen Life’s sales and product strategies.
- Gather customer feedback and provide structured, evidence-based insights to internal teams, influencing product development and marketing strategies.
- Identify trends and opportunities in the healthcare sector, ensuring the company remains agile and proactive.
Commercial Delivery
- Oversee the preparation of customer proposals, tenders, and presentations, ensuring they reflect a deep understanding of NHS priorities.
- Use data and analytics to track performance against sales targets and ensure continuous improvement in client engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing satisfaction for NHS clients.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Senior leadership experience in health tech or a related field, with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the NHS Long Term Plan, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and commissioning processes.
- Extensive experience selling software solutions to NHS buyers, particularly across ICS populations.
- Strong network of relationships with NHS stakeholders, including commissioners, clinicians, and IT leads.
- Demonstrated ability to craft and negotiate favourable contracts and drive profitable growth.
Desirable Experience and Skills
- Experience working with digital health technologies and data-driven solutions that improve population health outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, including multi-stakeholder engagement and collaborative decision-making processes.
